Free Wi-Fi Coming To Many B.C Rest Stops

B.C's Transportation Ministry says free Wi-Fi is on the way for a number of Highway rest stops.

A Tuesday release says that Wi-Fi is soon to be installed at 25 of B.C's rest stops, with another 25 stops getting Wi-Fi sometime during, or after, the Spring of next year.

Transportation Minister Todd Stone says it's part of a three year plan to spend $9M on rest stop improvements.

The Ministry says it also plans to post signage to advise motorists of upcoming stops that have Wi-Fi capabilities.
