Friday Rescue Sees Sledder Pulled From Creek Bank

RCMP in Revelstoke say that a sledder was rescued from the Boulder Mountain area on Friday night. 

Police say that the 51 year old male went over an edge, landing 20 feet below in a creek bank.

A release says that the injured male was lucky to have avoided landing in the creek.

Fellow sledders offered that man first aid until Search and Rescue arrived. 

That male was transferred to hospital in Revelstoke with non-life threatening injuries.
