Frigid Weather Still In Store For This Week

Environment Canada's chilly forecast is closing in on us.

Forecaster Matt MacDonald says "Wednesday through Friday it's going to get quite cold - about 5 to 8 degrees below normal."

He also has word on Salmon Arm's low for the week, saying "Thursday night is probably going to be the coldest night, dipping down to -12, with similar temperatures for Revelstoke."

Golden could hit -20 on Thursday night.

MacDonald believes we should warm up a bit on the weekend, saying "Temperatures start to soften. The winds will shift to the SW, and we'll be heading back to seasonal normals."
