Golden Cops Bust Theft Suspects

Golden RCMP say that a tip about a stolen credit card used in Lake Louise led to a pair of arrests on Tuesday.

Local Police say that they got a call from Lake Louise RCMP about a male and female who had just used a credit card that was believed to have been stolen out of Banff.

RCMP set up on the Highway, and located the male and female who were then arrested for possession of stolen property.

A Monday release says that a search of their vehicle turned up over a dozen stolen items, including credit cards, passports, and electronics that may have been related to a number of thefts in Banff.

The 23 year old female suspect from Alberta is due in Court this April, while the 22 year old male suspect from Alberta was held in custody thanks to outstanding warrants in his home province.
