ICBC Urges Drivers To Stay Safe This Easter Weekend

We've got a long-weekend on the way, and that means a reminder from ICBC about Highway safety.

ICBC is encouraging drivers to plan ahead, be well rested, watch for wildlife, and slow down on wet roads.

A Tuesday release says that an average of four people die each Easter weekend in 2,300 accidents around B.C, and that another 650 people are injured in those accidents.

Southern Interior stats show that Easter weekend results in an average of 310 accidents and 62 injuries, each year.
