New Weather System Approaching For Wednesday

The Shuswap and Columbia regions are set to see some more Winter temperatures, this week.

Wednesday looks to be the start of a new weather system, as detailed by Environment Canada's Alyssa Charbonneau "We're back in the situation where we have a ridge of high-pressue building over the Interior, and this is one of our cold, arctic ridges coming down from the North."

That means daytime highs around -5 for Salmon Arm, -5 for Revelstoke, and about -9 for Golden.

Charbonneau says that this system will also bring clear skies, which means cooler overnight temperatures as well.

She notes that incoming moisture on the weekend should warm things up a bit in the overnight hours.
