Newly Released Snowpack Numbers Show Further Growth

B.C's River Forecast Centre has released its newest update on snowpack figures.

Thursday's report states that the South Thompson region, which covers Salmon Arm and the Shuswap, is now at 111% of normal, up from 104% of normal last month - and above last year's figure for early March which was 87% of normal.

The Upper Columbia region, covering Revelstoke and Golden, is at 112% of normal, up from 101% of normal last month, and above last year's 87% of normal for March.

This newest report says that the average figure for B.C's overall snowpack is now 119% of normal, up 11% from last month.
