Parks Releases Rogers Pass Engagement Results
The results of a public engagement process on the future of Rogers Pass have been released.
Parks Canada says that just under 2,000 people took part, with only 37% of them from B.C.
82% of people said they want overnight lodging options, 55% asked for food options, 25% want to see a new service station, and 9% of people said that no new amenities were needed.
Parks is still in the midst of deciding the future of Rogers Pass.
Already coming for 2019 will be a washroom facility, highway upgrades, and an electric vehicle charging station.
