Province Releases Newest Snowpack Numbers

B.C's newest snowpack figures were released on Friday.

The provincial average as of March 1st has B.C as a whole at 89% of normal amounts.

The South Thompson region - covering Salmon Arm - is at 83% of normal, while the Upper Columbia region - covering Revelstoke and Golden - is at 100% of normal amounts.

The Okanagan is down at 81% of normal.

This new report says that there's no elevated flood risk in the current snowpack.
