Shuswap Voters Hand Incumbent Liberal Greg Kyllo Second Term
Election night saw the Shuswap riding put its support behind incumbent Liberal Greg Kyllo.
56% of the vote was more than enough to see Kyllo re-elected for his second term.
NDP candidate Sylvia Lindgren found the support of 27% of voters, while Green candidate Kevin Babcock got 16% of the vote and Libertarian candidate Kyle McCormack got 2%.
Kyllo's 56% is an increase from the 48% support he got during the 2013 campaign.
Shuswap support for the NDP came in at its lowest level since 2001, although absentee ballots still need to be counted.
