Sicamous Eagles Name Tyler Gunn As New Head Coach

The Sicamous Eagles have found their new Head Coach.

Tyler Gunn of Vernon is set to take over this season.

Gunn says that he took some time off after four years as a coach with the Princeton Posse, saying "I fell back for a few years to coach my son while he was growing up, and I decided that I wanted to get back into coaching junior hockey and there was an opportunity in Sicamous."

As for his style behind the bench, Gunn says "I would say I'm a good mix of old-school and new. I'm firm but fair. I expect a hard game - maximum effort all the time and just bringing energy every single game."

Gunn spent time as a player in the KI in both Revelstoke and Golden.

The Eagles are coming off their first playoff appearence since 2014-15.
