Skier Rescued After Collision With A Tree

RCMP in Golden have detailed a call from last week that ended with the rescue of an injured skier.

Police say that it was last Thursday around 1PM when they recieved multiple notifications about the need for Search and Rescue in an area near Donald, NW of Golden, known as Old Man Drainage.

Golden and District Search and Rescue flew to the area, and found a 33 year old male who had suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries after a collision with a tree.

That male was airlifted back to Golden for further medical treatment.
