Sledder Dies Following Sunday Crash Near Mabel Lake

RCMP in the North Okanagan are working with the Coroner's Service, following a Sunday death in the back-country.

Police say that a 30 year old male from the Lumby area died while sledding near Mabel Lake.

A release says that the male lost control of his sled and landed in a creek.

His friends tried to help, but Police say that the victim died of his injuries.

RCMP say it's a reminder of the dangers of the back-country, regardless of your training.
