Timeline Set For Stretch Of Four-Laning West Of Golden
B.C's Ministry of Transportation say that it's soon to accept bids on an upcoming Highway One project West of Golden.
The Donald to Forde Station Road project involves the expansion of 2.5km's of Highway to four-lanes, along with improved access to the nearby the Commercial Vehicle Safety Enforcement inspection station.
A Thursday press release says that expected cost of this work is $19.4M, with $12.1M coming from the province.
The contract for that work is likely to be awarded early next year, and the work itself is to run from Spring of 2018 to the Fall of 2019.
