Tips Sought After Suspect Pours Gasoline In Office Waiting Area

RCMP in Salmon Arm say that an investigation is underway following a peculiar incident from Thursday afternoon.

Police say that it was around 1:20pm when a male entered an office on 16th Street NE, and began pouring gasoline on the counter of the waiting area.

Employees say that the male did not speak to them, and quickly fled.

Staff Sergeant Scott West has a description of that male "That he's in his 20's, and was wearing a grey hoodie that was pulled up over his head."

West also has a description of a vehicle connected to this case "A blue four-door sedan that's an older model, with a silver door on the passenger side."

No injuries were reported from this incident.
