Tips Sought On Possible Child-Luring In Armstrong
RCMP in the North Okanagan are investigating a possible child-luring attempt from Tuesday afternoon.
Police say that two middle-school aged students were approached at the Otter Lake and MacDonald Road intersection by a male in an older white pick-up truck who offered them a ride home.
The driver is described as an older Caucasian male, with grey hair and sunglasses, wearing a brown jacket and blue jeans.
A license plate was not provided, and the model of the truck is unknown.
Police say that they are aware of similar incidents, and continue to seek help from the public.
They say that the children in this case did the right thing by refusing to speak with the male.
Anyone with information is asked to call their local RCMP.
