Trio Facing Charges After Crime Spree Ends In Salmon Arm

Salmon Arm RCMP have provided more details on a crime spree that ended in Salmon Arm, last Tuesday.

Police say that members in Sicamous tried to stop a vehicle that had been stolen out of Revelstoke that morning, and then watched as that vehicle travelled towards Salmon Arm at 140km/h.

Salmon Arm Police found that vehicle in the Downtown, and got into a short scuffle with two male and one female suspect before they were arrested.

The male who was thought to have been driving is facing seven charges, including flight from Police, and impaired driving.

Charges have also been recommended against the other two occupants of the vehicle.

Police believe that those three suspects may have been involved in a robbery in Sicamous just hours before they were arrested, and Sicamous RCMP are now investigating.
