Two Injured In Tuesday Morning Accident On Highway 97B

Salmon Arm RCMP have detailed a three vehicle collision from yesterday morning on Highway 97B.

Police say that it was around 9:25am when an SUV travelling West on 10th Ave pulled in front of a small dump truck heading North on the Highway.

The broad-side impact managed to reach a semi that was waiting to turn off the Highway.

The 80 year old male in the SUV suffered what were believed to be non-life threatening injuries, while the dump truck driver suffered minor injuries.

The driver of the semi, from America, was not hurt.

Police say that a witness caught the collision on their dash-cam, and that an investigation is ongoing.
