Two Men Sentenced For Role In October Robbery
RCMP in Chase have provided follow-up details on a robbery in Scotch Creek from October 6th of last year.
Police say that both men arrested for the break-in at the Scotch Creek Super Valu have now been sentenced.
Niclas Eriksson of Kamloops was found guilty of possession of stolen property in November, and was handed one day in jail to go with 12 months of probation.
Jesse Morton of Kamloops was sentenced on March 1st, and was handed 8 months in jail and a year of probation.
Police say that those men stole large quantites of liquor in their heist, and that 90% of that alcohol was recovered in a search warrant that came just one day after the break-in.
