Two More Dogs Taken From Animal Shelter

RCMP in Revelstoke say that two more dogs have been stolen from the local Animal Shelter.

The City reported on Monday that someone had cut a chain link fence at the Shelter to free a male Pit Bull Terrier named Kilo, who had been seized after an attack on a young girl.

A Thursday release from the RCMP says that the Shelter was targeted again on Wednesday, with someone prying open two kennels to free a pair of female Pit Bull Terriers named Luna and Ruby.

All three dogs had been seized following what Police refer to as a "vicious" attack from April.

The RCMP continue to investigate, and welcome anyone to call them with information.

Those dogs have been deemed as a risk to the public, and anyone who thinks they see them is being asked not to approach them.
