Warming Trend On The Way For Local Regions

A weather change on the way for the Shuswap and Columbia regions..

Sun and warmth are on the way for this weekend and next week.

Environment Canada's Carmen Hartt has more, saying "That ridge of high-pressure is going to stick with us for about the next week or so, and everyday we see the temperatures just gradually warming up a little bit - with temperatures peaking in the early part of next week."

Salmon Arm and Revelstoke could see temperatures in the mid-teens by early next week.

Hartt's not calling it an end to winter just yet, as the end of the month will likely see some more average conditions "If we do get any precipitation at the end of March or into April in the overnight periods it could fall as snow, however it wouldn't stick around."
