Weather Change Coming To The Shuswap Starting Sunday

Enviroment Canada is forecasting a slight warming trend for the Shuswap region, starting Sunday.

Forecaster Alyssa Charbonneau has more "We're going to see the weather pattern change, and a series of systems coming in off of the Pacific Ocean - and that is going to bring with it milder air."

She says that this new system should bring us a temporary reprieve from the snow "This will be coming with a lot of moisture. The forecast will have basically a chance of showers right into the middle of next week."

Salmon Arm's daytime highs between Sunday and Wednesday look to be between +7 and +11.

Charbonneau says its still too early to tell if we're done with the snow for good.

Revelstoke and Golden will also see higher temperatures thanks to this system, but are still likely to see flurries next week while Salmon Arm deals with showers.
