Wednesday Storm Pummels Rogers Pass, More On The Way
Wednesday's snow storm missed the Shuswap, but it hit the Columbia region hard.
Environment Canada's Bobby Sekhon has word on how much Revelstoke saw between Wednesday and Thursday morning, saying "Probably between 15-25cm, depending on where you are."
As expected, Rogers Pass was hit much harder, with Sekhon saying "Definitely a lot more through Rogers Pass, about 40cm."
Sekhon tells us that Rogers Pass is in for another dump of snow today and tonight, with the possibility that 55cm could fall by tomorrow afternoon.
Highway One from Eagle Pass to Rogers Pass is still under a Winter Storm warning, and there's a travel adivsory recommending against using the Highway between the Craigellachie area and Golden.
