    With a sound that blends high energy Latin, West African, reggae and folk rock rhythms, the John Welsh Band gets crowds moving wherever they perform. A world traveler by nature, John Welsh lived and studied in Mexico and Guatemala where he was heavily influenced by the music, language and culture. After 5 years of playing and recording with various bands he and brother Chris(bass) met Nigerian born Courage Eigbike who brought his reggae and West African influenced sound. Together they began creating songs that would get crowds dancing and singing along with the vision of bringing their world music sound to a mainstream audience. Tickets on sale now!

    After a massive 2016 with over 110 shows across North America, the I LOVE THE 90’s TOUR will continue its momentum in 2017 with 40+ new stops in the North America. The top-selling tour, which originally announced only 29 dates, quickly became the year’s most sought-after show, eventually racking up 110+ stops and selling out a number of arenas across the country.   • Element Music Festival

    The Snug Lake Amphitheatre will once again be the host venue for the 2nd annual Element Music Festival. Each of the nights will feature two sets by The String Cheese Incident, totaling six sets over the four-day event. Garaj Mahal will reunite to play five sets over the course of the festival. Sponsor a peach bin, retrofit it with whatever mechanical or aesthetic stylings you see fit, then race it down Main Street for glory!   • Penticton Peach Festival Air Display

    The Penticton Air Display on Wednesday August 9th, also the first official day of the Penticton Peach Festival, begins with the Canadian Forces Skyhawks Precision Parachute Team at 5:00 PM landing at Okanagan Lake Park located directly east of the Penticton Lakeside Resort and Conference Centre. The Snowbirds air flight exhibition will follow at approximately 6:00 PM followed by a Canadian Forces CF-18 Hornet Fighter Jet to round out the show at approximately 6:45 PM.

    During the 70th Annual Penticton Peach Festival, directors, producers and want-to-be filmmakers will be submitting their short movies to the 3rd annual Reel Peach Festival Film Festival. These movies will be previewed on the Peters Brothers main stage in Okanagan Lake Park before the 9:30 pm main act.

  • Peach Festival Peters Bros. Grand Parade

    The Peach Festival Grand Parade is the largest parade in the BC Interior. Young and old, everybody loves a parade and this 90 minute parade will include floats from BC and Washington State, marching bands, dancers, gymnasts, musicians, clubs, associations and clowns. Bring your sunscreen, a hat, a chair and find a spot to enjoy it all!!
  • Peach Festival Pentown Throwdown

    The Pentown Throwdown returns to the Penticton Peach Festival this year with an all-amateur roster of skateboarders and BMX riders. BMX’ers and skateboarders will compete in street and bowl categories and representatives from Pentagon Boardshop and Freedom Bike Shop will be judging the riders, handing out $2,000 in cash prizes plus additional giveaways during the event.
