Bantam Seawolves Still Undefeated at BC Tier 4 Championships in Prince Rupert
The host Prince Rupert Seawolves remain undefeated at the BC Bantam Tier-Four Championships at the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre.
After winning their first two games on opening day Sunday, the Seawolves skated to a 3-3 tie against the Summerland Jets in yesterday's action.
Other scores from yesterday: Windermere Valley defeated Fort St John 6-4 in the evening game after tying Summerland 4-4 in the morning contest; and Fort St John edged Prince George 4-3.
The final day of the round robin begins this morning at 10. Prince Rupert's final round robin game is at 7 tonight against Prince George -- then the medal games will be played tomorrow.
Elsewhere around the province, the Terrace Bantam Kermodes improved their record to 2-and-oh at the Tier Three provincials in Port Hardy, outscoring Quesnel 8-5 yesterday -- they play Mission today at noon.
The Terrace Midget Reps also beat a team from Quesnel yesterday --- the final score in that game was 4-1 --- at the Tier Three provincials in Cranbrook, so they're also 2-and-oh and play Mission at noon today.
In Pee Wee action, Terrace and Kelowna battled to a 6-6 tie at the Tier Three Provincials in Powell River -- Terrace plays Burnaby this morning (7:30).
And the Prince Rupert Pee Wees ran into a tough Kimberley team yesterday morning, losing 23-1 at the Tier-Four's in Lillooet... but they recovered from that loss and skated to a 3-3 tie against Lillooet in the afternoon game.
The Seawolves play Burnaby this afternoon.
