CIHL: Battle For Second Heats Up As Steelheads Visit River Kings; Also Rampage & Ice Demons Clash

The Terrace River Kings will host the Smithers Steelheads tomorrow night, in a showdown between two teams vying for second place in the Central Interior Hockey League standings.

Both teams have 16 points, with five games left for each on the schedule, including tomorrow night's contest.

Also this weekend, the Kitimat Ice Demons and Prince Rupert Rampage play a home-and-home series:  they're at Tamitik tonight and Prince Rupert's Jim Ciccone Civic Centre tomorrow night.

It's been a rough season for the Ice Demons, who have lost all 11 games they've played so far.

The Rampage are tied for fourth place with Quesnel.  The Kangaroos host the league-leading Williams Lake Stampeders tomorrow night.
