Man Seriously Injured in Krumm Road Crash
A man is in hospital with serious injuries, following an early morning crash on Krumm Road in Thornhill.
The man was one of three people in a brown Ford pickup truck, which was travelling east, when it struck Thornhill Creek Bridge at around 6:15 and ended up in the ditch.
The crash closed the road until about 11 o'clock this morning.
Police say the driver was ejected from the vehicle -- and suffered serious injuries.
He's been flown to hospital in Vancouver for treatment.
The two passengers in the truck did not appear to be hurt.
RCMP believe that speed and alcohol played a role in the crash.
Road and weather conditions were reported to be clear at the time.
Any witnesses to the crash are asked to contact Terrace RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
