Man Sought in Connection with Possible Assault in Kitimat

Kitimat RCMP have released a photo of a man suspected of assaulting two teenaged employees of a local grocery store.

Police say the allegations stem from an incident that happened on February 28th at Kyle's No Frills.

They say the man allegedly pressed his hand against the groin area of the two youths before leaving the store.

He's described as First Nations, possibly in his 60's -- he was wearing a red sweater, dark jacket and pants, and a baseball cap.

The Kitimat RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a male of interest concerning a possible incident of assault. In the evening of February 28th, 2018, the Kitimat RCMP received a report from Kyles No Frills in which an unknown male assaulted two teenage employees. In both incidents the male pressed his hand against the groin area of the youth before departing. The male is described as First Nations, possibly in his 60s, wearing a red sweater, dark jacket and pants, and a baseball cap.
