Man Wanted in Connection with Violent Home Invasion in Thornhill

A Terrace area man is wanted by police, in connection with a violent home invasion reported in Thornhill last Friday.

Twenty-nine-year-old William Willie is described as First Nations, about five-foot-six-inches tall and weighing 178 pounds.

He has brown hair and eyes, and a tattoo spelling the word "Trinitee" on his right forearm -- he also has small scars on the right side of his face.

He's suspected of kicking in the door of a residence in Thornhill at around 2pm Friday and assaulting a person inside, before fleeing in a silver car.

The victim suffered minor injuries, and police say the incident was not random.

The Terrace RCMP is asking for the public’s help in locating William Willie, following a home invasion and assault in Thornhill, Friday afternoon.

Around 2 p.m. on March 10, Terrace RCMP responded to a home invasion in which a man kicked in a door and assaulted a person inside the residence before fleeing in a silver car. The victim received minor injuries. The incident was not random.

Willie also has several outstanding warrants for his arrest.

He is described as:

  • 5’6
  • 178 pounds
  • First Nations
  • Brown hair and eyes
  • 29 years old
  • Thin build
  • Right forearm tattoo of the word Trinitee (vertical)
  • Small scars predominately on the right side of his face
