Remains Found Near Kitimat Believed To Be Those of Missing Man

It appears the search for a missing Kitimat man has come to a sad end.

RCMP say human remains found in a wooded area near Kildala neighbourhood over the weekend are believed to be those of Patric Graham.

The 58-year-old man hadn't been seen since Labour Day, and two weekends ago, family and friends mounted a search of the Kitimat area but were not able to find him.

But this past weekend, police and members of Kitimat Search and Rescue identified eight target areas, and on Saturday morning, a Kitimat SAR team found the remains at around 10:30am.

Foul play is not suspected, and the case has now been turned over to the BC Coroners Service.
