Laughing Under The Influence in support of The MS Society

“Hub of the Hammer Event Planning” is putting together a non-stop laugh riot of a show featuring a wide range of local talent. “Laughing Under The Influence: Comedy From Both Sides Of The Law” is what happens when right means wrong. Featuring a unique blend of storytelling and stand-up comedy, it brings together four comedians and four lawmen, each with their own unique take. It all happens March 11th at Mills Hardware.

The show’s biggest goal is to raise money. Proceeds from the night will be donated to a local chapter of the MS Society with hopes of it making a difference in the fight against MS. Featuring not just comedy but also magic, live music and a fantastic raffle, it has something for everyone.  The night’s lineup includes comedians Patrick Coppolino (MTV, Yuk Yuks), Isi Commissio, Mat Ferguson, Gerry Hall, John Ellis and Clifford Myers. Each of them has their own stories. Whether it’s one side of the law (Patrick, Isi and Mat) or the other (Clifford, Gerry and John), you’re sure to learn and laugh by the end of it.

"The idea for the night was two-fold” says Hub of the Hammer’s Matthew Surina. “We wanted to raise funds for a good cause while also showing off some of Hamilton’s comedian talents. Everyone performing that night has a different view point and it’s really cool to hear them tell their story and bring us along for the journey. Whether it’s someone who spent time behind bars, a probation officer, a lawyer or someone who spent time studying to be a priest it’s going to be a riot to see it all come together”

Everything goes down Saturday, March 11th, 7:00 PM at Mills Hardware (95 King Street East, Hamilton). Some light snacks will be included. Tickets are $30 and $25 in advance. They can be purchased starting January 20th online through Mills Hardware.
