I attended radio broadcasting school in Saint John, New Brunswick. Graduated in June 1993. My first job in radio came in August of 1993 when I had an interview with Country KHJ. This was back when our playlist was on index cards and there was still records being played in the studio. After years of doing the overnight shift, evening show, midday show and a little stint on KHJ's sister station CIHI, I started doing the morning show on KHJ in 1997, and have been here ever since. In 2010 I was inducted into the Minto Country Music Wall of Fame as an honorary member. In 2014 I was inducted into the New Brunswick Country Music Hall of Fame.
Through the years I have had the pleasure of rubbing shoulders with Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, Shania Twain, George Jones, Merle Haggard, Mel Tillis, Ray Price and so many others. It truly has been a great career. I'm very lucky. Nothing compares to my family. I married my beautiful wife Rosie in 1997. Our daughter Emma came along in 2002 and we were blessed with James in 2011.
