After failing out of university (due to being "too sexy" for learning) Chris Biggs began producing commercials part time for Z103 in Toronto while attending the Radio Broadcast Program at Humber College. After being told "you really should focus on production, you'll never have a successful on air career" from his "professor" Chris begged his boss at Z103 for the overnight shift which he finally gave him. 6 months later Chris took over evenings and held that position for the next 6 years. Chris then when on to host a nationally syndicated evening show based out of CHUM FM in Toronto called the Sound Lounge which he left after a year to launch Virgin Radio in Toronto as their APD/Afternoon Drive announcer. After 2 years in that position Chris was let go and started up his own YouTube channel called The Fix and a podcast with Jason Barr and Pastey Jamie called The Biggs & Barr Show. Both these ventures were quite successful and lead to Astral Radio offering the morning show time slot on 97.7 HTZ FM and the purchase of the broadcasting rights for The Fix nationally on all of Astrals radio station websites. 5 years later The Biggs & Barr Show continues to provide world class entertainment every morning from 6-10AM.
