Corrie Sirota, M.S.W., P.S.W., is a clinical social worker and licensed psychotherapist. An expert in the field of bereavement, Corrie is the author of Someone Died…Now What? A Personal and Professional Perspective on Coping with Grief and Loss. She is a sessional lecturer in the School of Social Work at McGill University and the Clinical Director of Camp Erin® Montreal – a free weekend long camp for bereaved children. A seasoned group work facilitator, Corrie provides workshops and training to schools, organizations and agencies in Montreal and abroad. Born and raised in Montreal, she lives with her husband and two adult children. Corrie spends most of her free time at the gym, where she is training her body as well as her mind. She follows the belief that life is full of adversity but it’s also full of ways to overcome it. Consequently, she strives to accompany people through their challenges and help them cope in the best way possible.
