Announcer - Morning Show
I started my career in communications with the Canadian Armed Forces in 1978.
While I was serving in the middle-east, I was asked if I would be interested in participating in the planning of a radio station. My career in radio really started at that point.
In summary, my career has been long and I’ve loved it all. After more than 11 years of wearing a military uniform, I put on civilian clothes and took on a full time position with Armed Forces Radio in Germany.
From there I was in Lethbridge, Red Deer, High Prairie, Fort St John, & for the last 10 years, Fort Nelson as the station manager and morning show host.
As I said, this quick scan of life is in summary. I could probably write a book about the things I’ve done and seen.
I’ve enjoyed serving the community of Fort Nelson and have no immediate plans of hanging up the microphone. Our community has become accustomed to my sense of humour which is legendary...at least in my own mind it is.
So join me weekday mornings and join both Tabitha and I each Friday morning on 102.3 The Bear.
