Freddy Mac aka Fred McCausland has been waking up at 4am for 23 years now. 16 of them, as morning host at 105.3 The Fox.
He didn't start his radio career till the age of 27.
Before that, he worked as a pseudo professional actor all over the country. He LOVES what he does but it's not all he does. He continues to hit the stage with a recent lead role with Theatre New Brunswick's Musical Of Musicals. Fred has also spent a lot of hours in classrooms, boardrooms, and hospital rooms, as a motivational speaker and friend, mostly covering addiction and self-recovery.
He's also a Dad to Jack, who's getting ready to enter the Engineering Program at UNB.
There's a lot of places you might find Freddy after the morning show. You might find him napping, playing Frisbee with his dog Mojo, playing slow pitch with the legendary Moosehead Old Fat Guys, playing golf poorly, or doing Body Pump Class at Goodlife, for which Mark has made him turn in his "man card".
Oh yeah, he finally got married last summer to the lovely Natalie! Poor girl.
