Jason Barr originally wanted to be an auto mechanic. He quickly realized that he was pretty ill suited to that profession so he turned his sights elsewhere. Being terrible in Mathematics, Jason opted for a career in radio as he was told it “required no math”. Jason started in radio working for free. He worked for free for a long time before securing an awesome hourly wage position, where in between paid shifts he continued to work for free. When it became apparent that he wasn’t going to go away he was eventually given a full time position and hasn’t looked back since. He worked at the same radio station (CFNY 102.1, Toronto) for more than 17 years before being fired while on vacation. He quickly teamed up with Chris Biggs and formed the Award Winning Biggs & Barr Show that you can now hear Monday to Friday mornings 6 -10 am on 97.7 HTZFM. Special NOTE: Jason was also the youngest Shift Manager in Wendy’s restaurant history. He achieved this success at the tender age of 15 years old. Not old enough to drive, but old enough to fry.
