Trudie Mason is a born-and-bred Montrealer who graduated from Concordia University's Journalism Department in 1984. Having done some part time work for the CHOM newsroom during her final years of university, she landed a full-time gig in the CFCF Radio Newsroom after graduation. A year later, she was hired by the legendary Gord Sinclair as CJAD's newest overnight newscaster. She moved into the assignment editor/reporter position 18 months later and shifted into the Public Affairs department after the birth of her first child. For 12 years, she and her husband co-hosted The Kevin and Trudie Show afternoons on CJAD. Now Trudie is back in the newsroom doing the half-hourly newscasts during the morning run and some reporting work as well. She occasionally teaches Radio News at her alma mater, Concordia. Trudie and Kevin have two children and live in Pierrefonds.
