August 21st - Swiss Cheese!
If you're a cheese lover you'll be glad to hear that it's considered to be a super-food in the health food world! Kale, avocados, olive oil and goji berries are just a few of the more well known super-foods, and researchers at Korea University have discovered Swiss cheese has unique properties that might give you an excuse to take another bite.
According to their research, a probiotic called propionibacterium freudenreichi has the ability to increase your life span and it's found only in Swiss cheese. So here's to long and healthy life of eating Swiss cheese!
