  • Symposium D'Arts Visuels du Nord-Ouest 50/50 Lottery

    Funds from the lottery are used to showcase the talents of people with special needs by integrating them to the Symposium of North-Western New-Brunswick artists, the Grand Falls Potato Festival and the Saint-André Agricultural Fair. These opportunities in their communities allow them to share and develop their know-how.     Grand Falls Rotary Club and Valley SPCA will be having Chase The Ace Plus. Draw happens every Wednesday night beginning June 19th. The draws will take place at Kat N' Dan's Pub & Restaurant in Grand Falls, beginning at 7:30 pm. You don't have to be present at the draw to win!! Tickets are 1 for 5$, 3 for $10 and 8 for $20.   • Ace of Spades

    The Victoria County SPCA & Lions Ace of Spades jackpot is over $3000! The draw takes place every Friday at the Tobique Lions Club in Plaster Rock, starting at 6:15 pm. Tickets will be sold at the Lions Club on Fridays, between 5 and 6 pm. Tickets can also be purchased in advance at Dayna's Restaurant, Ark's Convenience, New Denmark Auto, Mapleview Redemption Center and The Riley Brook Store. The cut off time for the selling agents will be Thursday at 5 pm. You don't have to be present to win. Tickets are $5 each, 3 for $10 and 8 for $20. For more information, visit their facebook page.
  • 2nd Annual Car Show

    OK Tire & Glass Grand Falls will be having their 2nd annual Car Show on Saturday, July 20th from 1 to 5 pm. Classics, Muscle Cars, Tuner Cars, Motorcycles and ATVs will all be on display. Food and beverages will be on site and there are prizes to be won. Donations will be accepted and all proceeds will be donated to Kevin Michaud for multiple heart surgeries and travels.     The IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer's will take place on Sunday, July 21st at Falls Villa in Grand Falls. Registration begins at 1 pm. Walk will start at 2 pm.     St. Teresa's Church in Anderson Road will be having their annual Picnic on Sunday, July 21st. The parade begins at 12:30 pm, followed by Bingo, Live Music, Mini Queen and King Contest and Games.   • 11th Annual Ride for Hope Fundraising Party

    The 11th Annual Ride for Hope Fundraising Party will take place on Saturday, August 3rd. The purpose of Ride for Hope is to help local children in need. The event will begin with an ATV Rally/Poker Run. Registration happens at 11 am, departure at 12 noon. Country Artist Steve Waylon will perform at 8 PM. Both events will take place at Camp Scout in Canton. Cost is $15 for the poker run & concert, $10 for the concert only. They will also be having a pig roast (cost $10) and Fireworks.     Valley SPCA will be having Touch A Truck on Monday, August 5 from 11 am to 5 pm at the E&P Senechal Centre. Come celebrate NB Day!! There will also be face painting, balloon art, BBQ, Music, Cake and much more!! Admission is $5 and FREE for children 2 years and accompanying parents.   • 16th Rendezvous Des Artistes

    The Painting and Sculpture Symposium, welcomes you to the 16h Rendezvous des Artistes happening from August 16th - 18th at their new site, Parc Clarence Bourgoin in Saint Leonard. It's the largest gathering of artists from Eastern Canada, the US, and Europe!! Starting Friday, August 16th at 10 AM, with the official park opening under the white tent, lasagna supper, then live entertainment with Fire and ice. Saturday, August 16, you can enjoy a quarter-chicken dinner, followed by the Jerry T. Band. Sunday, August 18th, the Auberge Harris prizes will be awarded to whomever purchased artwork.
