Classes at Polyvalente Thomas-Albert postponed by one day
Students at Polyvalente Thomas-Albert in Grand Falls will get an extra day of summer vacation.
The Francophone Nord-Ouest school district says the start of classes have been delayed by one day due to ongoing work at the school.
The district says all students in grades 7 to 12 will start their school year on Wednesday.
The multi-year project, which began in June 2013 and should be completed this fall, is expected to add 30 years to the life of the school.
Repairs and renovations include improvements to laboratories, replacing blackboards with whiteboards, replacing of interior and exterior doors, painting, and repairs to damaged asphalt.
