Government funding for major repairs at Théâtre Montcalm

The provincial and federal governments will spend $1.1 million on a major repair project at Théâtre Montcalm in Saint-Quentin.

Just over $649,000 will come from the federal government, while the province is investing $500,000.

Officials say the project will involve a number of upgrades, such as bringing the facility up to current building code standards.

Théâtre Montcalm is used for recreational and cultural activities, and serves as a meeting place for residents.
