Northwest Bulls host Hockey Fights Cancer games in support of hockey family members

The Northwest Bantam Bulls Major AAA team will be hosting Hockey Fights Cancer games in Florenceville-Bristol and St-Basile in support of members of their hockey community.

In a press release, the team says fans can contribute to the cause by making a donation to Hockey Fights Cancer when they attend Saturday's game against the Northern Blackhawks at the Northern Carleton Civic Centre at 12:45 p.m. and/or Sunday's game against the Blackhawks at St. Basile at 12:15 p.m.

Hockey Fights Cancer raises money and awareness toward cancer research at both the professional and minor league levels.

Through the Canadian Cancer Society, donations made to Hockey Fights Cancer in Canada help to offset the costs of lodging, transportation, round-the-clock care and symptom management support for cancer patients and their families.
