Province announces $105,000 for downtown Grand Falls project

The New Brunswick government says it will spend $105,000 on a downtown improvement project in Grand Falls.

The project involves installing benches, new garbage receptacles, a sound system and a pump track.

Mayor Marcel Deschênes says in a news release that the projects will greatly benefit the downtown region.

The money is coming from the Program for Municipal Development to Commemmorate Canada's 150th anniversary.
