  • Opening Ceremonies: Cambridge Community Oktoberfest Luncheon

    The local celebrations will kick-off with an opening ceremony with the Cambridge Mayor and City Council, with a free Oktoberfest lunch courtesy of M&M Meat Shops, on Wednesday, October 3rd at Cambridge Civic Square. There will be a keg tapping ceremony and Maypole Raising, with Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest officials; including, Miss Oktoberfest and Onkel Hans, and live entertainment.

    Join Angie Hill, the Mayor and the City of Waterloo Council as they kick-off the Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest celebrations with a mouth-watering free lunch courtesy of Pillers.

    The fanfare of trumpeters will be sounding from the rooftops on Friday, October 5th, 2018 at 11:15 am, announcing the Official Opening of the 50th annual Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest, North America's largest Bavarian festival!

    Join The Sarge and the KFUN Team for opening night festivities at Hubertushas!
  • Oktoberfest 5K Fun Run

    Join us on Monday, October 8th, at approximately 7:55 am, at the Official Start Line for some pre-race fun, and then run down the Thanksgiving Day Parade route! Following the race, join us for a fun-filled Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest Experience at the post-race party!
  • Thanksgiving Day Parade

    Bleacher seat tickets will be available from the Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest Official Retail Store while quantities last. Bring a canned good for the Onkle Hans Food drive!
  • Oktoberfest Car Show

    The 21st Annual Oktoberfest Car Show will make a return in 2018 with even more amazing cars, great food, live entertainment and much more. The Car Show will be held at the Inn of Waterloo on Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
