The adventures of Douglas T. Chicken continue

Douglas T. Chicken, our KICX 106 mascot continues to get ready for his Big Adventure.

Doug has been invited to join Penetanguishene's Michael Dupuis and his co-pilot Otto on the tandem bike for the Ride to Conquer Cancer. They will be pedalling between Toronto and Niagara Falls in June to raise money for the Princess Margaret Hospital Cancer Centre.

On April 6th, Doug attended the Nobody Does it Alone fundraising dance at the Tiny Township Community Centre.  The dance - which featured live entertainmetn by Outlaw Sons - was an overwhelming success.

Doug had a chance to hang out with the band... okay, actually he just photobombed them when they were on stage.

He got a chance to hang out with his girls, wearing his new event T-shirt.

Proceeds from the event were shared by the Ride to Conquer Cancer and the Georgian Bay Cancer Support Centre, which provides services to cancer patients, family, friends and caregivers in the Midland-Penetanguishene area.

TheNobody Does it Alone Team  (Michael and Monique Dupuis, Michael's nieces Julie & Janelle, Louis Pilon, Lise Pilon, Otto Pilot and Doug). continues to train for the Ride to Conquer Cancer . The tandem bike has been equipped with a special perch for Doug, and Michael has redesigned the team cycling jerseys to include Doug. You might notice from the sleeves that the team has been rebranded as the DTC crew.!
