  • Halloween Fun Fair

    Enjoy some Halloween fun at the Algonquin Road Public School Halloween Fun Fair! Open to everyone Admission is $1 Event to include: Horse drawn wagon ride, Laser Tag, Costume Exchange, Animals from Northern Exotics, Slime making, Haunted house, Penny table, Carnival games, snack shop, Pumpkin decorating, face painting and canteen. There is a "win your Halloween candy" raffle and much more! Our costume exchange is a room with costumes where people can either bring an old costume and exchange for a new to them or can search from one of our gently used costumes for a small fee. Owlette, Cat Boy and Gekko from PJ Masks will be on hand to meet kids throughout the event Tickets for games and activities available for purchase. They are $1 each or 25 tickets for $20. All activities have a ticket value to play. We also have a pirate ship prize room to cash in your winning tickets! All money raised from this event is going towards the purchase of outdoor school yard items for kids.

This fun-filled event is a fantastic time for everyone - whether they are on the trails biking, enjoying the family friendly autumn activities, or warming up with hot chocolate, marshmallows and chili. Become a Shred Cancer Volunteer! The Northern Cancer Foundation (NCF) is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help with the event. NCF events - including the Shred Cancer - are a fantastic way to build your volunteer portfolio and gain experience working at events that aren’t your typical charity fundraisers. The event’s volunteers will fill a variety of roles both on the course and off the course helping to create a memorable experience for event participants.
