Earthquake Hits Sudbury Area

Did you feel it?  Or did you hear it?
Earthquakes Canada confirms a 2.9 magnitude earthquake hit the Sudbury area just after 5 oclock last night.

It was centreed about 27 kilometers east of the Nickel City, near Stinson, and was felt all the way to French River.

Many people turned to Social Media, and called our radio station asking what that rumbling was...

Just before 7pm, Earthquakes Canada confirmed that it was what they call a significant seismilogical event.

There have been no reports of injuries or damage.
