1 Person Dead; 1 Injured After Structure Fire in Sudbury

At approximately1208 a.m. (Friday, April 12) Greater Sudbury Fire Services responded to a structure fire at 325 Montague Avenue Greater Sudbury. 

Fire Services was able to extinguish the fire which occurred in one of the units in the triplex.

Two parties were located inside. 

One party is deceased and the other will be taken to Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto with critical injuries.

The Greater Sudbury Police Service Criminal Investigations Division and the Office of the Ontario Fire Marshal are conducting a joint-investigation into the incident. 

Greater Sudbury Police are requesting the public’s assistance with this investigation.
