Arrest Made After Convenience Store Robbery on Douglas Street

Sudbury Police have made an arrest in regards to an armed robbery earlier this week at a convenience store on Douglas Street. 

Police say once inside the store, the suspect displayed a knife and demanded that the employee give him cash, cigarettes and other items. He left the area on foot and the employee immediately contacted Police to report the incident.

The employee was not injured during the interaction, and was able to give a description of the man. 

Shortly after 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Police arrested 31-year old, Jesse Spanish at a bus stop on Lorne Street.  He faces multiple charges.
